Hi! I’m McKenna — a dog and parrot trainer with years of experience teaching everything from dogs and birds to rats, mice, and even fish.
Teaching hundreds of group classes and countless one-on-one lessons, I’ve learned that behavior problems aren’t “bad dog issues” — they’re emotional, psychological, and habit-based.
My training philosophy is built on:

Hi! I’m Monica (the one in blue).
My passion for dog training started young, but everything changed when I trained my own formerly-reactive pet dog to be my calm, polite service dog while managing my disability.
Suddenly, training wasn’t just about teaching commands — it was about staying organized, tracking progress, managing emotions, and doing it all while life felt overwhelming.
I used planners, logs, and social media to keep myself on track…
and it was a lot.
That’s why we created Pup School:
to give dog parents a simple, supportive, step-by-step system that works whether your dog is a working dog or a beloved family pet.
I’ve spent years studying dog behavior, attending an accredited trainer school, and training under multiple certified professionals — so you never have to guess what to do next.
We combined our experience to create an easy-to-follow training system built for everyday dog parents.
